I was born and raised in Tallahassee and both of my parents went to Florida State University. So naturally I followed in their footsteps. I am now a freshman college student at FSU. FSU has the perks of being close to where I live now so I do not have to worry about paying for housing and since it is in Florida, Bright Futures covers most of the bills. My major is Biological Sciences and after graduating FSU, I plan to attend a vet school. Hopefully later on in my life, I can own the farm I have dreamed of. I have always found writing to be tedious and frustrating. This is because in high school I was never allowed to truly write about topics that interest me. However, through this class I have been able to do just that. I have always loved animals and currently I own chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, a bunny, a dog, and a cat. This class has allowed me to write about my passions. Throughout this class, my main topic has been about chickens. Writing about chickens has brought joy back into my writing. I hope that during my time at FSU I can continue to find joy in writing. Another hobby I have besides raising my animals, is reading. I love to read anything from westerns to romance to thrillers to mysteries. Reading is a way for me to relax and decompress. One day, I know I will love writing as much as I love reading.
